WEEK 2－Learning Challenge

Last week, i start to learn how to play piano, and i found out it is not that easy as i thought before. I finished the plan from last week and learn some simple music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNRMXLPfdDA

then, i try two hands play together :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWwNNXN_pbE

During the study, the most challenge part is combine two hands together and play it evenly. I need to not only focus on the melody on the right hand, but also be careful let left hand play the right chord, however, i still can not do it well.

From this week reading, i found out that online collaborative learning (which from chapter 4) will be very useful for me.  My mum is professional in playing the piano, but she is lives in my hometown -China, during my challenge, i communicate with her and she gives my a big help as an “instructor” through internet. Then she discussed different idea with me as a “learner” and we analysis.

For the next week, i will mainly focus on the left hand part, and figure out is that possible that different ways of playing left hand can be suitable with the same right hand melody.
