During these days, i found out how important is, to be able to read the stave. So, from this week’s reading i know that there are different ways for me to complete my chosen skill, such as media and technology.
About media, i just found a pianist and piano teacher on the Youtube called Andrew Furmanczyk. He is a very passionate and responsible teacher, he not only teach the different skills and music theory, but also will leave the homework assignment at end of the video. PIANU is a website that contains many techniques and knowledge about piano using a fun way, which is using the computer keyboard to play the piano.
It’s very fun to play with it, also it can build up the ability of the reaction, because once i miss a key, i will lose the mark.
Because of the internet, i do not need to purchase the book to learn the basic skills. Most of the piano books are about the different music score, not the techniques, so i think i’m ok with it.
Last week, my goal was to play a complete music “Spider Dance”, here is the video: https://youtu.be/qUeooFFtDZs. For the next week, i will try something new —— create a song by myself. It is a very big challenge for me, and i will take it serious. Please looking forward with my next blog. ~
